Description

The Computational Biology and Cancer Regulatory Genomics Lab (khanlab.bio) is looking for Postdoctoral Research Fellows to lead computational work in understanding gene regulation and non-coding somatic mutational landscape in pancancers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for integrative multi-omics analyses, regulatory genomics, and developing novel computational tools and methods to study how non-coding machinery controls cancer initiation and progression.


Qualifications

PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Genomics, or a related field.
Strong background in gene regulation, epigenetics, and enhancer biology.
Proficiency in Python, R, Bash, and experience with machine learning frameworks is a plus.
Expertise in DNA sequence data (WES/WGS) analysis and multi-omics integration.
Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) and cloud-based analyses.
Documented experience with the version control (Git), containerization (Docker or Singularity)
Hands-on experience with workflows management systems (Snakemake, Nextflow etc)
A strong track record of scientific publications in relevant areas.
Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
