The Institute for Biostatistics and Informatics in Medicine and Ageing Research is offering a position for a Postdoc (f/m/d), funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). We are seeking an enthusiastic individual holding a doctoral degree with a suitable background in computing or life sciences and an interest in longevity / aging / health research. The planned start of the contract is as soon as possible, for up to 3 years. Salary is according to TV-L full-time employment; part-time may be an option.
Your tasks:
You will use traditional bioinformatics and generative AI approaches to analyze longevity and chronic disease intervention-related datasets. Most of the scientific background can be found at: ibima.med.uni-rostock.de/intervention-analytics-longevity.

We expect an interdisciplinary interest in molecular cell biology and omics data, optimally longevity, programming/ scripting skills, e.g. in Python/ Java/ R, high personal commitment, time flexibility, creativity and enjoyment of working in a team, and good communication skills (English, oral and writing).
