Description

Seeking an exceptional candidate to conduct research in computational systems biology, tumor evolution, and/or gene regulation with focus on developing novel computational approaches addressing critical questions in these areas under the guidance of Dr. Teresa Przytycka. This position is located at the NIH main campus in Bethesda, Maryland, U.S.A.
This position is supported by the Intramural NIH Research Program and includes stable funding, excellent benefits and compensation.

Qualifications

Candidates with a PhD in computer science, computational biology/bioinformatics or a related discipline and no more than 5 years of prior postdoctoral training will be considered. Excellent programming, algorithms development, and data analysis skills are necessary. Prior published research related to the development of computational biology algorithms and methods is expected. Hands-on knowledge of statistical tools and biological databases is desirable.
