Description

We seek an experienced and innovative adviser with a specialized focus on studying DNA methylation patterns for cancer detection. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of DNA methylation biology, experience in computational and statistical methods for epigenetic data analysis, and a track record of applying these approaches to cancer research. This role involves guiding our analytics team in designing and implementing robust workflows, refining bioinformatic pipelines, interpreting methylation data in the context of early cancer detection, and advising on improvements to wet-lab protocols based on data insights.

Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on experimental design and analytical strategies for methylation-based cancer detection studies.
- Oversee bioinformatic pipelines tailored to methylation data.
- Provide insights on cutting-edge methylation analysis techniques and tools.
- Guide statistical modeling approaches for biomarker discovery and validation.
- Advise on improvements to wet-lab protocols based on data insights.

This is contract based external position that can be performed from anywhere, providing flexibility and the opportunity to collaborate with our team on advanced cancer research initiatives.


Qualifications

Extensive experience with DNA methylation analysis and cancer biomarker discovery.
Proven track record in epigenetic studies, with demonstrated application to practical use.
Proficiency in bioinformatic tools, programming languages, and data visualization relevant to DNA methylation studies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative mindset.
Experience with DNA methylation wet protocols.
Previous experience as an adviser is welcomed.
Experience with the development of LDT is a plus.
This is a senior position for highly experienced professionals, and all communication will be conducted in English.
