Description

Applications are invited for postdoctoral positions in the laboratory of Prof. Ekta Khurana (khuranalab.med.cornell.edu) at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) in New York City. Successful applicants will lead exciting projects in data analysis to understand treatment resistance in cancer. These projects will involve use and development of artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms for analysis of genome sequencing and digital pathology data. Our current focus is on prostate and breast cancer but we are interested in the evolution of different cancer types. Successful candidates will have opportunities to collaborate with a diverse group of scientists and clinicians, for example, computational biologists, cancer biologists, oncologists, and pathologists.

Qualifications

A Ph.D. in either of these fields: computational biology, computer science, genomics, cancer biology, or a related field. A strong computational background, proficiency in at least one programming language and knowledge of statistics are also required.
