We are a computational genomics lab located in Kansas City, USA that works in many areas of modern computational biology. The candidate will work on one of many current ongoing projects depending on his/her interests. We will talk about this in detail in the interview.
- Ideally, you should have a master's degree in any related area
- Must have a very strong software engineering background.
- Familarity with modern machine learning technique is a plus.
- You should have at least basic statistical analysis skills.
- *Please don't apply unless you have a strong command over Linux command line and have expert level experience is R and python.*
- You must have familiarity with NGS analysis pipelines and preferably have hands-on experience working in a bioinformatics lab.
- You need to go through a programming task to qualify for the interview.
