The ARS National Cold Water Marine Aquaculture Center (NCWMAC) is seeking highly qualified candidates for a two-year, full-time postdoctoral position.
This position affords the opportunity to:
• Join a motivated research team focused on the genetic improvement of Atlantic salmon
• Develop bioinformatics pipelines to improve genomic predictions
• Characterize genomic architecture and correlations among traits of commercial interest
• Develop low-density genotyping panels and whole genome imputation pipelines
• Examine phenotypic and genetic diversity of sea lice and lumpfish
• Select your research project(s) from among several well-defined questions or co-develop your own ideas with your supervisor
