The Computational Biology group at IIT Gandhinagar is looking for a postdoctoral researcher to work on modeling of protein complexes as multilayer networks. Recent advances in modeling biological systems as multilayer networks have provided novel insights. Multilayer framework enables exploration of interacting networks and their emergent properties. In this project, we aim to model protein complexes as multilayer networks and decipher the network properties of these complexes. The project involves development of methods as well as programs for treating such networks.
The candidate must be a Ph.D in any branch of Science/Engineering from a recognised university and should have experience in network analysis, graph theory and python programming.
