The BioMed AI Lab is part of the Institute of Science and Technology for Brain-Inspired Intelligence at Fudan University ([arguably] the 3rd best university in China and the best in Shanghai). Our institute hosts a full-dimensional database called Zhangjiang International Brain Bank, which has collected and stored gut microbiome, behavioral, genomic, brain imaging, and neurology data for 10,000 cases comprising cohorts for five brain disorders. We at the BioMed AI Lab aim to design and apply artificial intelligent algorithms and models, to identify biomarkers and drug targets for brain disorders. We also develop methods for health risk prediction, intelligent diagnosis and treatment, and prognosis assessment, through integrating multi-omics and multi-modal biomedical big data.
We are looking for 2-3 post-doctoral researchers to work on WGS-based structural variation identification and phenotype prediction methods, deep learning powered multi-modal data integration, full brain modeling, and intelligent methods for microbiome studies.

1. Outstanding PhD students who are about to obtain their doctoral degree, or PhDs who have obtained their doctoral degree within the past 3 years.
