Description

We are looking for multiple Postdoc Fellows to develop computational/statistical methods to process, annotate and interpret cutting-edge omics datasets with the mission to understand human diseases such as cancers. The positions will be fully funded with NIH research grants for at least five years with benefits listed below.

The host laboratory (tengmx.github.io) at Moffitt Cancer Center (Tampa, Florida, USA) focuses on computational omics research. A few highlighted projects include:

• Statistical modeling of spatial omic signals
• Deep learning of cell-specific enhancer-gene interactions
• Statistical evaluation of somatic mutation combinatorial effects
• Machine learning of clinical risks of clonal hematopoiesis

Qualifications

PhD in Computer Science, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics or related field
Proficient programming skills in biomedical data processing
Passionate and motivated in computational omics research
