Applications are sought for a senior academic to join the Barts Cancer Institute in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. The post holder will lead a multidisciplinary research programme and implement an artificial intelligence framework for a comprehensive integrated radiological/histological, clinical and molecular analysis to aid advanced diagnostics, prognostics and therapy. This is one of three professorial positions, funded with a generous package of support by Barts Charity, as part of a strategic initiative by the University and Barts Life Sciences.

You will have a significant track-record of high-quality research, evidenced by publication in internationally renowned journals, and be capable of teaching the subject to undergraduate and postgraduate students from a wide range of backgrounds.
You will hold a PhD in a relevant field, with research expertise in the field of Digital Pathology and Image Analytics including publications in internationally renowned journals. A successful track record of grant funding from research councils and other sources plus excellent teaching skills are essential.
