Applications are invited for an open rank, tenure-track faculty appointment in the Department of Cell Systems & Anatomy within Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at the University of Texas Health San Antonio (UT Health San Antonio). lsom.uthscsa.edu/dcsa/ We seek an outstanding investigator poised to lead a vibrant research program and participate in team science within the department and school of medicine. An ideal applicant will have expertise in computational biology approaches useful to cancer, neurodegeneration, and/or aging research. Candidates must hold a Ph.D., M.D., D.D.S., or equivalent degree and have a minimum of two years of productive postdoctoral experience. The selected candidate will be expected to participate in departmental teaching to graduate students. As a largely post-baccalaureate institution, teaching assignments are modest. A competitive startup package is available. The dynamic research program in Cell Systems & Anatomy at UT Health SA offers opportunities for multidisciplinary collaborative science.
