Mer lab ( merlab.github.io ) at the University of Ottawa, is looking for highly motivated and skilled individuals to work in the area of bioinformatics, machine learning and personalized medicine. We have multiple funded graduate student (MSc or Ph.D.) positions.
The candidate will work in the field of machine learning-based analysis of multi-omics data, biomarker discovery for personalized medicine and development of computational tools for data analysis. For detailed information about our research please visit merlab.github.io/Research
- Good knowledge of programming (preferably R or Python).
- Good GPA
- Excellent communication skills in English
- A previous degree in bioinformatics, computational science or related disciplines will be a plus
- Self-motivated and driven individual
