The Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology & Informatics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track.


Qualifications

Expertise is required in the specific area of biomedical informatics methods development and applications, with the ability to establish oneself as a research leader in their area of specialization. Relevant areas include bioinformatics, translational bioinformatics, clinical informatics, clinical research informatics, consumer health informatics, and public health informatics. Candidates with experience in AI, machine learning and applications to domains such as cheminformatics, computational/predictive toxicology, systems pharmacology and translational therapeutics are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have completed postdoctoral training.
