The Institute for Computational Genomics, RWTH Aachen (www.costalab.org) is looking for an experienced bioinformatician to perform research on inference of disease progression and integrative analysis of multiome sequencing data (scRNA-seq, scATAC-seq and spatial transcriptomics). This project will be performed in collaboration with biomedical researchers, who are generating single sequencing data of patients with fibrotic diseases in the heart, kidney and bone marrow.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in bioinformatics/computer science and previous experience in single cell sequencing, clustering and statistical machine learning or related approaches. The salary is according to German public service salary scale level TV-L 13 100% and initially limited to 3 years with possibility of extension. Willingness for teamwork and the ability to work independently in a competitive international environment are required. Good skills of English are expected.
