The Massachusetts Veterans Epidemiology Research and Information Center (MAVERIC) at VA Boston Healthcare System (VABHS) is seeking talented statistical geneticists,
computational biologists/bioinformaticians, and data scientists.

MVP (Million Veterans Program) has enrolled over 875,000 Veterans and is the largest trans-ethnic biobank worldwide. Data currently available for research in MVP includes 660,000 individuals with access genomics data, electronic medical records and multiple questionnaires. MVP is developing a sub-set with multi-omics such as whole-genome sequencing, DNA-methylation, metabolomics and proteomics (pilot stage).

VA-CAUSAL is a collaboration between the VA and the CausaLab at the Harvard T.H. School of Public Health aim to develop and apply causal inference methods on epidemiological studies using electronic health records, genetics and randomized trials.

Centralized Interactive Phenomics Resource (CIPHER) is a catalog and knowledge-sharing platform of VA EHR phenotype-based algorithms, definitions, and metadata. It is also used as a tool for storing and sharing phenotype methods and resources among the VA research community. CIPHER is directly supported via MVP and will be an integral part of the VA-CAUSAL program.
