Description

We are recruiting a senior post-doctoral researcher to work within the QUT Centre for Genomics and Personalised Health (CGPH) and School of Biomedical Sciences. The research work is funded by MRFF Genomics Health Futures Mission Grant and will involve Genomics and Computational Biology data analysis.

Remuneration: Total remuneration range: $119,829 to $142,312 (inclusive of $101,257 to $120,255 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading)


Qualifications

PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology and/or extensive equivalent
experience in a relevant field.
Post-doctoral or industry research experience in designing/optimizing/developing Bioinformatics tools and pipelines
Proficient in analysing high-throughput Omic datasets in human disease research
Strong programming skills (R, Perl or Python) and scripting Languages (Awk, Sed and Shell)
