FACULTY POSITION
PATHOLOGY INFORMATICS

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Kentucky, in Lexington, Kentucky is recruiting a bioinformatician with significant experience in Genomics and/or Pathology Informatics. The successful candidate would join an academic hospital-based clinical genomics laboratory practice and engage in an active collaborative research program appropriate to title series and rank. This potential open-rank position is available immediately and will remain open until the appropriate individual is recruited.

The Department is an integrated department of pathology www.mc.uky.edu/pathology/ with successful programs in anatomic and clinical pathology, a vibrant educational program for medical students, residents, and fellows as well as a nationally recognized research program in neuropathology. The Department maintains research affiliations with the Markey Cancer Center and Institute for Biomedical Informatics. There is a strong institutional commitment to maintain and enhance research and clinical excellence within the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
