We are looking for an outstanding candidate for a post-doctoral position in our group at the University of Lausanne (UNIL). Candidates for this position will work in the context of a large and multidisciplinary consortium aimed at developing personalized health approaches in oncology in Switzerland. Research projects will focus on the design, development, and application of algorithmic approaches and computational resources to study tumor genomic profiles of cancer patients. The appointee will develop his/her research projects while working in a highly collaborative team including computational and experimental cancer biologists and oncologists at UNIL, EPFL, the Swiss Cancer Center Leman (sccl.ch), and the Center for Precision Oncology of the University Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV).
A Ph.D. in computer science or related field is preferred, but applicants with a Ph.D. in Life Sciences are also welcomed to apply. Previous experience in cancer genomics is highly preferred. At least one first/main author publication in a peer-reviewed journal is required.
