Als gedreven, enthousiaste en ambitieuze Software Engineer werk jij in teamverband mee aan state-of-the-art projecten. Deze projecten worden veelal op de locatie bij onze klanten - die actief zijn in de high tech industrie - uitgevoerd. Onze projecten omvatten het gehele proces vanaf requirements definitie met de klant tot aan de oplevering, hiervoor is goede kennis van één of meerdere programmeertalen en ontwikkelplatformen zoals Linux, Windows, Android belangrijk.
Het is jouw tweede natuur om nauw samen te werken met software developers, design engineers en projectleiders van verschillende disciplines met als doel het ontwikkelen en implementeren van de best kwalitatieve code in een complexe multidisciplinaire omgeving. Binnen het team heb je je eigen verantwoordelijkheden en deel je de dag en je werkzaamheden naar eigen inzicht in.
Je werkt in Agile teams aan uitdagende, state-of-the-art hardware ontwikkelprojecten voor verschillende clusters zoals Healthcare, Space & Aerospace, Transport, Logistics & Infrastructure en de Smart Industry.

Wie ben jij als senior embedded software engineer?
Als Embedded Software Engineer heb je een afgeronde wo- of hbo-studie (Technische) Informatica, Electrotechniek, Embedded Systems.
Jij hebt minimaal 5 jaar relevante werkervaring in de high tech sector.
Jij hebt zeer goede programmeerkennis binnen embedded omgevingen met C++ aangevuld met C en/of Python kennis.
Jij hebt ervaring met programmeren op embedded platformen en bij voorkeur het programmeren van Microcontrollers.

As a driven, enthusiastic and ambitious Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll be part of a team working on state-of-the-art projects. These projects are carried out on-site with our customers in the high-tech industry. Our projects cover the entire process, ranging from the definition of requirements phase with the customer to delivery, which requires the necessary expertise in one or more programming languages for embedded environments and development platforms such as Linux.
Are you ready to work on the next generation operation rooms? Can you contribute your expertise for flight simulators, ultrasonic inspection platform, or rather tomorrow's drone platform? Be welcome at Topic. You’ll be working in Agile teams, on challenging, state of the art, development projects for different clusters such as Cure & Care, Imaging & Controls, Mobility & Transport, Infrastructure & Logistics and Research and Development. At Topic this means you’ll have daily stand-up meetings and weekly or bi-weekly sprints.

Who are you as a Senior Embedded Developer?
You have an University or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Physics and/or Mathematics.
You are proud of your 5 years or more relevant work experience in the high tech domain.
As a Software Engineer you have excellent knowledge and command of C++ and embedded C and/or Python.
You are experienced in development on embedded platforms and programming of micro controllers.
