We are looking for a scientific programmer to develop our tools and workflows. The work will involve:
– improve the performance, reproducibility and usability of the methods used in our group, with a focus on the analysis of single-cell data
– develop workflows that combine our tools with publicity available tools
– collaborate with other colleagues working on these top
Your profile:
– Bachelor degree in bioinformatics, genomics, or related area
– knowledge of programming languages used in bioinformatics (R, Python,..)
– experience building scientific research software packages
– experience with the principles of reproducible research
tart and duration:
The position is funded for two years, with the possibility of extension. There is no strict deadline, but priority will be given to applications by August 31st 2021. The starting date is flexible.
