Postdoctoral scholar in computational single-cell biology

University of Pennsylvania
United States PA Philadelphia

The Tan research group ( is interdisciplinary and highly collaborative, utilizing both computational and experimental approaches to study gene regulation. We have pioneered multiple computational algorithms for regulatory genomics, epigenomics, and network biology. As a member of the Human Tumor Atlas Network, the Human Biomolecular Atlas Program, the Human Cell Atlas, the lab are studying both pediatric cancers and normal tissues using a range of single cell technologies.

We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate for a postdoc position. The position will specifically work on developing advanced computational algorithms for single-cell genomics
data in order to understand tumor clonal evolution and microenvironment during standard and immunotherapies.

The desired candidate must have a terminal degree (PhD) in computational biology, genetics, molecular biology, computer science, statistics, mathematics or related field with a strong understanding of biology.
