Description

We have an opening for a postdoctoral fellow who will work jointly with the Modlin and Pellegrini labs at UCLA. Our goal is to study the immune response to microbial pathogens in humans. We focus on the host antimicrobial response in eliminating the infection as well as mechanisms of human disease pathogenesis. To this end we use a variety of genomic approaches such as single cell RNA-seq as well as spatial transcriptomics.


Qualifications

The candidate should have a strong track record in the analysis of next generation sequence data, with experience in single cell genomics. The candidate should also have a mastery of R and UNIX.
