Department of Bioinformatics at the Technical University of Munich is seeking a PhD student or a postdoc. You will collaborate with the Tel-Aviv University and Ben-Gurion University on a DFG-funded project „Deciphering overlapping regulatory signals in viral transcripts“.
Salary is in accordance with the German public service salary scale.
For postdocs: TV-L 13 100% for 36 months.
For PhD students: TV-L 13 65% for up to 48 months.
- A master degree in computational biology, bioinformatics, systems biology, computer science, or biology.
- Good knowledge of bioinformatics and biology
- Strong programming skills (Java, perl, python, R)
- Comfortable with the Linux/Unix environment, databases (MySQL)
