Description

The University of Colorado Cancer Center and several Departments at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus are seeking candidates across a range of positions in Biomedical Informatics. Positions range from Professional Research Assistants to a Full Professor. Examples areas of research include Cancer, Nephrology, Immunology, Endocrinology, RNA Biology, Genomics and Clinical Informatics. Biomedical Informatics research and support is critical to modern biomedical medical research and the University is actively expanding across multiple aspects of Bioinformatics research. Highly qualified individuals will complement the strong clinical and ongoing basic research projects and bring new skills to the campus.



The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is a vibrant clinical and basic research environment. The campus is home to the University of Colorado School of Medicine and School of Public Health, the University of Colorado Hospital, Children’s Hospital Colorado, and the Denver Veteran’s Affairs Hospital. We have over 2000 tenure-track and just under 2000 non-tenure track faculty supporting $1.6 billion in total revenue, which includes $516 million in research funding. The campus also supports over 4,000 PhD and MD trainees. The University has made major investments into centralizing patient medical records for research purposes, brining in cutting edge single cell technologies at the protein, DNA, and RNA level (10x Genomics, VECTRA, MIBI, mass spectrometry, high content microscopy), made major investments in to building research programs in Immuno-oncology, data analytics, RNA biosciences, and Fibrosis. The University is committed to developing cutting edge basic research and translating these findings into the clinic. There will be numerous opportunities to develop both independent and collaborative research projects.
