A bioinformatics Postdoctoral Research Fellow position is available immediately in the Department of Computer Science at Baylor University in Waco, TX. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing discovery tools associated with GeneWeaver (www.geneweaver.org). GeneWeaver represents a broad and continuing effort to identify and understand complex functional genomics using techniques in heterogenous data integration.

A successful applicant will have a background in computer science, bioinformatics, or related discipline with rigorous experience in python, web development, and relational databases. Previous experience with Flask, D3 and C++ is a plus. An interest in alcoholism and addiction disorders is also beneficial.
