PhD positions in computational or experimental biochemistry are offered by the International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) “From Molecules to Organisms”, based in Tuebingen, Germany.

The MPI for Developmental Biology runs the program in conjunction with the Friedrich Miescher Laboratory and the University Tuebingen. Our program provides an interdisciplinary environment for doctoral research in the life sciences.

Qualifications

Basic qualification: an excellent University degree (obtained or pending) at Masters level or equivalent in computational biology, bioinformatics, biochemistry or a related discipline.
In addition, applicants should possess a high motivation and passion for basic research, and an excellent standard of spoken and written English.
GRE General Test scores are required from applicants with degrees obtained outside the European Higher Education Area.
