We invite applications for a postdoctoral position in computational biology at Reed College under the supervision of Dr. Anna Ritz. This NSF-funded research position focuses on algorithm development to investigate cellular signaling. Projects in the lab include identifying signaling dysregulation in human cancers and predicting regulators involved in fundamental cellular processes in model organisms. Reed College is one of the country's leading liberal arts colleges, offering a rigorous academic program to approximately 1,400 undergraduates. This is a full-time one-year position with opportunity for renewal, and Reed offers an exceptional benefits package.


Qualifications

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in computer science, mathematics, biology, or a closely related area. Those with a degree in computer science and/or a background in applied algorithms are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants with strong communication skills and a desire to mentor undergraduates, work independently, and secure external funding are preferred.
