We offer a wide range of responsibilities in the field of statistical data analysis and machine learning. Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks:
* Training and evaluation of classification models on sequence and quantitative data of Immatics’ target discovery database XPRESIDENT® for the discovery of novel immunotherapeutic HLA peptides
* Development of novel statistical models for target selection in precision medicine (Hilf et al. 2018, Nature)
* Integrative analysis of a growing proprietary repository of transcriptome (RNA-seq) and HLA-peptidome data (LC-MS Mass spectrometry) for target identification (Zhang et al. 2018, Nat. Commun.)
You hold a master’s degree or PhD in bioinformatics or have successfully completed a similar training and are proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: R, Python, Perl, Java. You have a profound statistical background and are experienced in machine learning methods. You have knowledge of working in a Linux environment and are familiar with basic biological concepts and bioinformatics tools.
