We offer a wide range of responsibilities in the field of NGS-based bioinformatics. Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks:
* NGS pipeline development for Immatics’ target discovery platform XPRESIDENT® to improve identification of novel immunotherapeutic HLA Peptides
* Maintenance and quality control for a growing repository of external and proprietary RNA-seq and Exome-seq data
* Development of proteogenomics pipelines combining NGS and mass spectrometry (Zhang et al. 2018, Nat. Commun.)
* Inspection and interpretation of NGS data for precision medicine as well as target validation, i.e. elucidation of mechanisms underlying tumor development
You hold a master’s degree or PhD in bioinformatics and are proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Perl, Java, Bash. You are experienced in NGS data analysis, pipeline development and integration of high dimensional omics data. You have knowledge of working in a Linux environment and are familiar with basic biological concepts and bioinformatics tools.
