Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 494193), to commence as soon as possible for two to three years. The appointee will participate in research projects relating to single-cell analysis, disease genomics, metagenomics, cloud computing, medical AI, and precision medicine. All projects will involve analysing large 'omic' data with collaborators, and opportunity to develop novel bioinformatics methods and software.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree preferably in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering or a related discipline, with experience in developing and applying bioinformatics software to solve a variety of biomedical problems. They should also be organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently and in a team; and must be proficient in at least one computer programming language.
