This Bioinformatics Scientist will work in a team environment studying tumor heterogeneity using whole genome sequencing and single cell sequencing approaches, among others. The project will focus on our funded NIH Cancer Systems Biology Consortium (csbconsortium.org) program at City of Hope and provide exciting opportunities to engage with top scientists and cutting edge genomic research.

Key Responsibilities include:
•The scientist will analyze high throughput sequencing data for detection of tumor heterogeneity and subclonal populations using WGS (for reference, please read: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/29093439), as well as subclonal phenotype and pathway activity using single cell sequencing data.
•He/she will assist with managing, analyzing, and interpreting genomics data from patient cohorts in order to understand why cancer progresses with resistant tumor clones that emerge during therapy.
•The successful candidate will contribute to the development data workflow processes and pipelines.
•He/she will also have the opportunity to assist in training investigators and new users to use bioinformatics applications and databases.
