The School of Life Sciences of the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) invites applications for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor or Associate Professor position in the broad field of Computational Biology.
We are seeking candidates with a track record in addressing fundamental biological or biomedical questions by developing computational and/or theoretical approaches. All flavors of computational biology will be considered. The successful candidate will develop an independent research program, participate in both undergraduate and graduate teaching, as well as supervise PhD students and postdoctoral fellows.
The successful candidate will join a diverse, interactive and interdisciplinary research community and the newly established doctoral program in Computational and Quantitative Biology. The School of Life Sciences fosters interactions with EPFL partners, such as the Schools of Basic Sciences, Engineering, and Information and Communication Technologies, as well as with the Swiss Data Science Center.
Significant start-up resources, research budget and state-of-the-art research infrastructure are available. Salaries and benefits are internationally competitive.
