Description

We are currently seeking a talented bioinformatics researcher to fill a Post-doctoral Fellow position in the School of Biomedical Sciences, to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal. The appointee will participate in research projects relating to single-cell analysis, disease genomics, metagenomics, and systems biology. The position will be based in the Ho Laboratory (holab-hku.github.io/research.html).

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical/dental benefits.


Qualifications

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree preferably in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering or a related discipline, with experience in developing and applying bioinformatics software to solve a variety of biomedical problems. They should also be organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently and in a team; and must be proficient in at least one computer programming language.
