We seek a Research Assistant I/II in the School of Biomedical Sciences to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. The appointee will participate in research projects relating to single-cell analysis, disease genomics, metagenomics, and systems biology. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree preferably in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering or a related discipline, with experience in developing and applying bioinformatics software to solve a variety of biomedical problems. They should also be proficient in at least one computer programming language, organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently and in a team.
