The Computational Biology Department in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, in partnership with the Cancer Institute and Division of Radiation Oncology at Allegheny General Hospital, part of the Allegheny Health Network (AHN), is searching for a radiation biologist whose research involves extensive computational analysis and modeling. The successful candidate will have extensive opportunities for collaborations involving basic and clinical data sources at AHN. Applications for this tenure-track position are welcome from candidates at all experience levels, and appointments will be made at a level commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a strong, externally-funded research program and to teach radiation biology to residents in the radiation oncology program at AHN. Ph.D. or M.D. in Computational Biology, Radiation Biology or related fields, and experience applying computational methods to challenges in radiation biology.
