Your role:
• As a member of our Bioinformatics group you develop software in the context of personalized cancer immunotherapy.
• You follow the guidelines for development and validation of software in a clinical environment to fulfill this task.
• You develop innovative methods and algorithms for the analysis of high content data such as from Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) or proteomics experiments.
• You work in an interdisciplinary team and liaise and dialog closely with other departments including R&D, software engineering, and IT.
• You develop and implement your own creative ideas accelerating the field of personalized cancer immunotherapy.
Your profile:
• You have successfully finished an academic education in computer science, bioinformatics, mathematics, physics, statistics or similar and have ideally gained relevant scientific experience in an industry or clinical setting.
• You have profound experience in programming (e.g. Python, R, C++, Java, Linux shell scripting, and/or other languages) and statistics applied to life-sciences and in a clinical/regulated environment.
• Basic knowledge in cell biology, immunology or oncology is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to work within a team and very good English language skills complete your profile.
