Description

PhD positions is open in the group of Julio Saez-Rodriguez at the newly founded Institute of Computational Biomedicine of the University Hospital Heidelberg. The group is based in the BioQuant center. Our research spans the areas of systems pharmacology and functional genomics, with a focus on signaling and regulatory networks, and applications to cancer, autoimmune disease, and fibrosis. Qualifications

Candidates interested in using computational tools to analyze large biomedical data sets to understand and target human disease are encouraged to apply. You are expected to hold a degree in statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering or computer science, or a degree in biological science with substantial experience in computational and statistical work. We are particularly looking for a candidate with expertise in the functional analysis of omics data, although other profiles will also be considered.
