We are looking for a highly motivated staff scientist to join the Bioinformatics Core at BRIC. BRIC Bioinformatics Core Facility offers bioinformatics support for researchers at BRIC and the University of Copenhagen

Job Description
De store expertise van de faciliteit is de analyse van biologische data van diverse high-throughput gegevensbronnen zoals sequencing experimenten. The facility also hosts a local Galaxy server and offers training programs for data handling and analysis. He / she can join a multidisciplinary research team composed of medical doctors, molecular biologists and computational scientists. Profile
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic staff scientist with the following competencies and experience:

Essential experience and skills
Strong programming skills
Experience in handling next generation sequencing data
Good English skills
Kennis in kanker en moleculaire biologie is niet nodig, maar een plus

Place of employment
The place of employment is at BRIC , University of Copenhagen. We offer creative and stimulating working conditions in dynamic research environment.

Terms of salary and employment
The employment as 'staff scientist' (AC-TAP) is [a full time and fixed-term position for 3 years]. Starting date is January 2019. Employment will be in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement between the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. Den månedlige lønnen vil være baseret på antallet af års arbejde. The employer will pay an additional 17.1% to your pension fund.
