We seek a creative, self-motivated post-doctoral Associate to join a laboratory of Bioinformatics, Genome and Transriptome Data Analysis and Quantitative Oncology(prof. VA Kuznetsov) to work on creating and developing probabilistic models and algorithms for better understanding and prediction of the genome and transcriptome complexity and cancer cell phenotype. The Associate will work in the fields of computational and molecular systems biology, including nucleic acids modeling, computational R-loop biology, non-coding RNA and DNA structures, associated with genome instability and malignancy. The Associate will carry out innovative integrative studies ranging from a single nucleotide to genome, transcriptome and cellular phenotype scales. He/she will analyze the next generation and clinical data sets and develop integrative databases aiming to discover essential biological mechanisms, critical cancer-associated pathways and clinically relevant biomarkers for personalized cancer diagnostic and treatment and development the next generation therapeutic targets. He/she will closely collaborate with interdisciplinary team of biologists, clinical researchers and oncologists.
Minimum Qualifications Doctoral degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Systems Biology, Computer Science or similar discipline required.
