Description

This role will be responsible for the applications of bioinformatics tools for the analysis of genomics, transcriptomics and epigenomics datasets and the application of computational approaches for the studying the epigenetic control of genome function. You will be working as part of a team and have the opportunity to contribute to a range of different research projects.


Qualifications

You should have a BSc or equivalent degree in biology, computer science, systems biology or a related subject, be proficient in programming and have some bioinformatics experience. Good communication skills are essential as is the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Excellent organisational and record keeping skills are essential.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 12 months in the first instance.
