The Lesch Lab at Yale School of Medicine is seeking a postdoctoral fellow in bioinformatics and regulatory genomics. We study how packaging of the genome in male gametes (sperm) influences inheritance and evolution. The lab uses comparative analysis of transcriptomic and epigenomic data across mammalian species, in combination with experimental mouse genetics and molecular biology, to tackle this problem.
This position will involve an independent computational genomic project using our unique epigenomic datasets, as well as collaboration with wet lab biologists for genomic data analysis. We are looking for independent-minded and creative scientists who are excited to work closely with wet-lab biologists and to develop new approaches to comparative analysis of epigenomic data.
