Two positions (Postdoctoral Fellow or Research Associate) are available in the areas of multi-omics integration and systems biology. The candidates will play key roles in several large-scale projects:
• Analyzing different omics data (RNAseq, metabolomics, microbiome) for deep biological insights;
• Developing novel algorithms and visualization methods for improved data understanding;
• Implementing new-generation cloud-based platforms to enable large-scale applications.
Candidates should have a PhD or MSc degree in bioinformatics, computing science, data science, biostatistics, or analytical chemistry. At least one of the following criteria must be met:
• Proficiency in R for statistics and data visualization
• Next-generation sequencing analysis (RNAseq, microbiome)
• High-resolution MS-based metabolomics data analysis
• Web/Cloud technologies (Galaxy, J2EE/JSF, Node.js, HTML5, JQuery)
• Development of databases (MySQL, MangoDB)
