The Division of Biomedical Statistics and Informatics at Mayo Clinic is seeking applications for faculty positions in bioinformatics with collaborative experience. The candidates will be responsible for leading the bioinformatics component of multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with colleagues to advance bioinformatics in healthcare transformation and precision medicine.

Qualifications include:
• a PhD in bioinformatics or a closely related field
• at least one year post graduate experience
• demonstrated collaborative research success
• experience with RNA sequencing, whole genome sequencing or systems biology
• demonstrated ability to publish in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals as first or senior author
• leadership experience with evidence of delegating to team members
• experience presenting research at national or international forums
• flexibility, creativity and excellent communication skills
