A postdoctoral position is available in the group of Jason Ernst at UCLA. The position will involve developing and applying novel computational methods to better interpret whole genome sequencing data. The group is developing strategies leveraging epigenomic, comparative genomics, and high-throughput functional testing data to better annotate non-coding regions of the human genome and interpret potential disease associated non-coding variants. Applications will include interpreting variants from whole genome sequence of individuals with psychiatric and/or substance use disorders.
Applicant should have strong computational skills.
