The division of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology at Mayo Clinic invites applications for a Director of Bioinformatics. Opportunities are currently available in Rochester, MN.

The Director of Bioinformatics will work collaboratively with the individual laboratory directors within DLMP engaged in NGS test development and/or sign-out and the Center for Individualized Medicine Integrated Multidisciplinary Practice (CIM-IMP). The Director will lead a team of experts in bioinformatics and biostatistics and will establish close partnership with the DLMP's IT team.


Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have an a. M.D. with significant bioinformatics experience OR a Ph.D. in bioinformatics, statistics, computer science or a related field with training in bioinformatics.
