A number of post-doctoral research fellow positions are available in the Department of Biostatistics and Data Science, UTHealth School of Public Health at Houston. Candidates will be expected to work on the research projects to develop novel methods in text/data mining, machine learning, natural language processing, artificial intelligence, recommendation systems, high-performance computing, data management systems and predictive modeling with applications to EHR, insurance claim and other health science Big Data. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in computer science, computational engineering, bioinformatics, biomedical informatics, (bio)statistics or a related field, with relevant research experience. Computational and programming skills are essential. The position is available immediately.
