The major duty is to develop statistical and computational approaches for protein and RNA structure alignment/analysis, and to apply them to protein/RNA/chromosome classification, structure prediction and function prediction. The research will also integrate structure information with genomics information to perform integrative studies in cancer genomics and personalized medicine. Candidates with a PhD in statistics, computational biology, bioinformatics, mathematics, or computer science will be considered. Solid background in bioinformatics, computer science, statistics or applied mathematics and excellent programming skills (in python, C, C++ and/or R) are required.
