The Friedberg lab at Iowa State University is one of the leading labs in the Critical Assessment of Function Annotation, or CAFA project. There is now an opening for a postdoctoral associate who will manage the Third CAFA experiment which will start Fall 2016. CAFA is a time-challenge to predict protein function which includes over 50 groups worldwide. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to interact with leading research groups worldwide, and enjoy being at the forefront of a key international effort to improve a vital field in bioinformatics.
