The Saunders Laboratory at the Vollum Neuroscience Institute (Oregon Health Sciences University, Portland OR) seeks to hire a staff scientist (BA with 2+ years experience, MS or PhD level) with expertise in computer science, computational biology or bioinformatics, whose aim is to build infrastructure and analysis tools for single-cell genomics datasets. The successful candidate will have a leadership role for computational research in the lab and will have the opportunity to mentor trainees while also conducting, presenting and publishing independent research. Partial work-from-home option available.
